Once upon a time, princesses were born in the world of Walt Disney. Even though each of them comes from different countries, nationalities, and skin colors, they all share beauty, kindness, and courage. These characteristics make them as princesses who have always held our hearts from the past to the present. And today I'd like to introduce you to my all -time favorite Disney princess.
Are there any princesses who are number one in your heart? Let's see!
1. Cinderella (Cinderella)
Starting with my first favorite princess, Cinderella. Even though she wasn't born royal but she was graceful and gentle, and she never felt furious at her stepmother or two older sisters who treated her as if she wasn't a member of the family and had her work hard.
I love Cinderella because she never gives up in the face of obstacles. Even though her evil stepmother made her do hard work, she was never furious. And in the end, because she was a kind person, three angels came to help her till she found love with the prince and was happy at the end.
2. Snow white (Snow white and 7 dwarf)
Snow White, the second princess I like, is a kind lady who is soft and always nice to the things around her and is often kind to animals, despite being reared by an evil queen. Because she is a generous and caring person, the seven dwarfs accepted her as part of their family and have been a family ever since.
The thing I appreciate about Snow White is that she has a lovely heart that makes everyone fall in love with her, even the animals.
3. Tiana (The Princess and The Frog)
Tiana is an intelligent, witty, and ambitious woman. She dreams of fulfilling her beloved father's dream of opening her own restaurant in New Orleans. Even though she doesn't know much about food and business management, she has passion and works hard.
The thing that I appreciate most about Tiana is that she is a dedicated worker who works without waiting for support from others or fate. And in the end, her hard work and savings paid off, allowing her aspirations to come true.
4. Ariel (The Little Mermaid)
Ariel is King Triton's youngest daughter. She likes to explore new things. She fantasizes about living in the world of people since she believes that life in the sea does not provide her the freedom she desires.
Thing that I admire about Ariel is that she dreams and has the courage to make her dream come true. Although it took a great deal of courage for her to use her voice in exchange for having human-like legs.
5. Mulan (Mulan)
Mulan is a strong woman who has never been able to behave like other women, which is contrary to the traditional view that women should be polite, neat, good at cooking, and only take care of their husbands and children.
Mulan is one of my favorite characters because she defies gender norms and never gives up on her desire to participate in a war. She also has the courage, intelligence, and determination to restore honor to her family. She is living proof that the flowers that bloom the slowest are the most beautiful, as her father once stated.
6. Merida (Brave)
Princess Merida is a headstrong princess who refuses to be treated as a typical princess and is unable to choose her own path in life. She is a brave and determined woman who prefers living in open fields with her horse, Angus, rather than in a castle.
I like Merida because she is a modern princess who defies princess standards and is determined to forge her own path in life, even if it disagrees with her cherished mother. Even though I like the storyline of Brave, it inserts the relationship of family members who do not understand each other, but in the end, Merida uses courage to fight various obstacles and make them understand each other again.
7. Belle (Beauty and The Beast)
Belle is a lovely woman who enjoys reading. She is also a brave young lady who gives up her freedom to the Beast in exchange for the life of her father.
The thing that I like most about Belle is that she does not judge others based on their appearance. She fell in love with the beast because he was a kind-hearted person, even though his body was a hideous demon. Belle is also a smart and open-minded person who dreams of having adventures like those in the books she likes to read.
8. Pocahontas (Pocahontas)
Pocahontas was an Indian princess and the daughter of a chieftain named Powhatan. She was a key factor in keeping the peace between the English colonists and the Indians. She saves an English explorer named John Smith, who is about to be executed by her own tribe.
I like Pocahontas because she is a person who is passionate about things in life, has morals, and becomes very upset when others are disrespected or treated unequally. And I really like the plot of this story since it's the first Disney princess story where the prince doesn't end up with the princess. It shows realism because in real life just because we love each other doesn't guarantee that we will be together forever, like in the world of fairytales.
9. Jasmine (Aladdin)
Princess Jasmine has honey-colored skin, a thin hourglass form, and a stubborn personality. Jasmine refuses to do what a decent princess should do to find her true love.
Jasmine is one of my favorite characters because she is strong and refuses to marry in an arranged marriage. She will only marry the man she loves, Aladdin, whether he is wealthy or not. I like the scene where Jasmine confronts the villain of the story, Jafar, the most. She uses her intelligence to trick Jafar into helping Aladdin escape danger. It demonstrates that the princess did not have to wait for the prince to come to help but was able to stand up and fight for herself.
And here are 9 Disney princesses of all time in my opinion. I can tell you that each princess has a different cuteness, brightness, and charm that has delighted and impressed many people. And which princess do you especially like?
